The lower level of the home offers two additional bedrooms, full bathroom with stand up shower and a second living area with sliders leading out onto the lower patio with breathtaking views. Amenities include mini split air conditioning in each bedroom and both living areas, WiFi, gas grill, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

"Beautiful View "

Not much negative at all to say about this house. For us parking didn’t cut it and not enough silverware. (Everyone coming from different locations). We figured out where to park our extra cars and the silverwear was a minor thing.

House was extremely clean and the beds very comfortable. The dock was super nice and the kids “18-25” (boys) loved finding crabs and jelly fish.

Agency was excellent. Very organized.


Rent this without worries. You will love it.

"July 2023 Stay"

I wanted to make sure that I reviewed this house since I think a lot of the previous are older. We LOVED this house! It's beautiful with lots of space for everyone to spread out. There are mini splits in every room so AC is quiet and comfortable. Dampness in the basement was a non issue as mentioned in previous reviews. Gorgeous sunsets over the pond. Perfect for kayaking with the family. pond is very shallow and small so we had no reservations about sending the kids about on their own. Location is in the middle of everything! Only minuses are the parking (only fits 3 cars) and that it's not walking distance to the ocean. The home itself and being on the water are worth the sacrifices though!

"Nice House Overall"

The house was nice, great deck and very clean. It was missing a few key things. An outside shower would really be helpful. There is no outside water at the house at ALL. This makes keeping the clean difficult. Also a serious lack of cookware. No big pot or pot with a lid.

"Lake Front"

We had a great time at 439 Depot Street. Great views over the lake. Ample space in the house. Air conditioning was good. Only negatives were the parking, being on a double yellow road with busy traffic. We squeezed 4 cars in a 3 car space, constantly rotating cars to get out. Impossible to invite anyone, no place to park. Also many steps to the lake. Overall it was a nice stay for this year.

"August Vacation"

The people at Martha Murray provide outstanding customer service. We have rented through them for years. Through no fault of theirs, we were without a functioning refrigerator for about one week of our two-week vacation. This is the second year we rented this home. The view is great, and the home itself is clean and functional, although a bit worn. Also, the basement air conditioners have a dehumidifier function that helped immensely once we figured out how to turn on that function. We recommend Martha Murray Vacations and Properties to all of our friends.

"Beautiful sunsets"

Beautiful location and absolutely gorgeous views from the deck! The sunsets were just amazing! Convenient to get to places for dinner and shopping, and a quick, easy drive to all of the lovely beaches in Dennis. Busier street than I anticipated, but not noisy at all- very peaceful. The house could have been a bit cleaner we thought. Furniture had slipcovers that were stained, kitchen floor mats were dirty, master bathroom shower/tub was either stained or just not clean (there was hair in it when we got there so it wasn't cleaned before our arrival, but it seemed it might have had water stains) and the shower curtain rod was slightly broken, slanting down. The lower level was very musty smelling, which is where two of the bedrooms were and there wasn't much that we could do to help the smell, despite trying to air it out. The beds downstairs were older and not too comfortable. The stairs to the dock were in need of attention and probably not safe (not at all sturdy or anchored; swayed back and forth). The patio/outside area under the deck was in need of cleaning as well as the outdoor furniture on the patio; would have been happy to clean it off myself but we couldn't get the hose to work. We chose to use the deck for spending time outside, and that was really lovely with great seating options for relaxing or enjoying a meal while taking in the views. Kitchen was very well appointed. Lots of seating options throughout the house and very spacious, great open concept upstairs on the main level.

The home we rented was comfortable and clean, including a great deck with an outstanding water view. Martha Murray management was professional, as always.

"Great Location - Awesome Outdoor living but some issues"

The house is exactly as pictured. However we had some issues which the Property Manager responded to immediately. Only one issue could not be resolved during our stay and that was the first floor being very damp even with humidifier running which needs to be constantly running and it is loud so sleeping at night was difficult - We ended up not using any of the living space downstairs due to dampness and odor and worried about mold. One of us had to sleep on pull out couch upstairs, and the other stayed in the least damp of the 2 downstairs rooms. If owner has taken care of this issue I would highly recommend this house, everything else was perfect!! I suggest asking Property Manager if the dampness has been taken care of prior to booking. Property Management company was awesome!
