"Great House - Needs better storage. :-)"

What a great location, and such a beautiful home! We could have used better storage in the bedrooms, as we stay for two weeks. Two of the dressers were not very functional (one was mostly a knickknack display). You all were nice enough to bring us some over the door hooks - SO helpful! There was also no storage in the kitchen, but we made a pantry out of a step ladder! I think they need a better shower curtain, it had a sheer top and would leak if you weren't paying attention, hate to see the floors get damaged. The outside shower water pressure was really bad, it was difficult to get sand off. We had a great time! This is purely feedback, NO complaints on our end!

"Annual cape vacation"

I have been vacationing in Dennisport for 30+years. I have been renting through Martha Murray for about 10 years staying in various houses. In the last 3 years I have rented 9 Beaten Rd. And have been very satisfied. The house is comfortable and, in my opinion, in a great location. One of my favorite features is the outdoor shower.

We had a great week in Dennisport, and a great experience with Martha Murray as always. The property was very clean and it was very family friendly, and a safe environment for a three year. The location was wonderful, about a 10 minute walk to teh beach (with a toddler, probably less if you are on your own). The only thing with the beaches on that end is that they had a lot of seaweed, not sure if they were still being raked as in past years. Close to great restaurants like Chapins, Swan River, the Sailing Cow and my favorite the Ocean House. It is also a short drive to West Dennis beach, which we enjoyed as well. My sister and I had stayed in this neighborhood as kids and were so happy to be able to re-visit it with our families.

"Very homey and comfortable"

This rental home was very clean and the furniture was all relatively new. I was very impressed with the quality of the beds. The kitchen was also well stocked with regards to dishes and flatware. We all felt very comfortable and at home during our stay.

I gave 4 stars for cleanliness only because the outdoor shower still had items let from the previous renter.

"Beaten Rd"

We very much enjoyed the property. There were many nice touches throughout, it was a great home away from home for the week. Walking distance to the beach and centrally located to many sites of the cape. The cleaning of the property seemed that it was rushed. The outdoor shower had many items left behind (a dozen razors and empty bottles), the floors needed to be more than broom cleaned as there was a layer of grime on the floors that resulted is us wiping the floors clean upon arrival (area rugs need to be cleaned as they trap lots of sand and dirt) and not all trash was removed prior.

I love how close the beach is, only a short walk away. I would recommend opening and leaving the closet doors open and it would take out the musty smell. It is a great cottage and is so perfect to spend time away from home, we always feel at home when we are there...LOVE IT!

"Early August Stay 2015"

Everyday was a perfect sunny day. It was a short walk to the beach. A quite neighborhood. I loved being at the cape and this cottage was affordable, but needs to be uncluttered. The living room furniture was very nice, and the TV was great. I was happy with the service and attentiveness from MMVR. I felt all my questions were always answered.

We could tell that the property had some updates- new carpet, new furniture. All was comfortable. The best part of our vacation was a ferry ride to Marthas Vineyard, trip to Plylmouth, and kayaking on Bass River.
