Description

This newly renovated 2-bedroom sunlit cottage offers cooling throughout and a large screened sunporch. A quiet street and a short walk to the beaches of Nantucket Sound (only .3 miles away) make this an ideal location. The new eat-in kitchen features a dishwasher and a washer/dryer and the updated bathroom has a tub/shower combination. New hardwood floors along with the original knotty-pine walls give you the perfect Cape Cod charm. The spacious backyard has three separate seating areas for eating, grilling, relaxing and gathering around the firepit, as well as, a large enclosed shower for rinsing off after the beach. You’ll have all you need for a carefree, relaxing getaway.

Linens, towels and beach towels provided upon request for an additional $50 charge

Special Note for Spring and Fall stays: Opening and closing of outside shower is weather dependent. Please contact for details.

Although the weather did not cooperate, the home was a lovely place to stay . Very clean with a great yard including fire pit which we enjoyed. The grounds are meticulously kept and the location was good for beaches and restaurants. I also appreciate the gift basket from the host family as I am a repeat customer.

The rental itself was great. This was the second time that we stayed at the property and would do so again. It is a good size for two adults staying together so we each had a bedroom. It is close to beaches and to restaurants.

The house was very comfortable with well-stocked kitchen. Nice enclosed porch and a huge backyard with several gathering spaces. Bedrooms comfortable although a bit tight. Weather was perfect,so no need to apply air conditioning.

"Fantastic WFH Stay with a bonus beach walk!"

This home was better than the pictures let on. The cleanliness is immaculate and the gas-range oven was top notch. We worked from home for a whole week in this house and demanded a lot of internet and we never once had an internet issue. The sun-room was a perfect WFH room even on cold days because of how much sun it gets. The firepit was a nice touch in the evenings. The grill works fine but may need to be replaced in the next season. The bed was extremely comfortable, we only used the master bedroom but the other beds seemed similar. The TV/living room situation was very relaxing and comfortable. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and we made the walk every evening for the sunset.
The owner and Martha Murray made a special accommodation for us and I have to really call out both of their willingness to help us out, thank you!

We were sad to leave, wish we could stay longer!

"A cozy, clean Cape cottage ."

This cottage was accurately described on the website. We loved the sunroom and the spacious backyard, which offers some privacy. It is close enough to walk to a beach but we enjoyed other beaches as well. It was convenient to be able to use the beach chairs, and even though we didn’t use the fire pit, we liked having the option to do so.
We would definitely consider rentIng this one again.

"Magoo vacation "

We had a wonderful vacation the house was great.The only thing they is a little more storage for food,we used the kitchen table and that was fine because we had great weather.The only other thing was the AC seemed to not cold enough set at 74 and the house would get as high as 78 seem like it could not keep up..

"Wonderful Cape Stay"

We loved our stay at Beaten Rd 37! It was even better than it appeared in pictures. Recently redone...newer furniture & appliances, and nicely decorated. Super clean! The fenced yard was fantastic..lots of areas to sit and hang out on...and a large outdoor shower. Our favorite spot was the screened sun porch though! Very short walk to a small beach, and extremely convenient to so many beaches, parks, restaurants, etc either by car or bike.

Very cute cottage, nicely furnished with great back yard and outdoor shower. Only negative was no lights out back so we felt rushed to grill early before it got dark. Wouldn't be an issue in early July but later in August it gets dark pretty early.

"Fantastic house, in a great location. "

What a great house! I’ve been renting houses on the Cape for years now, and this is easily one of the best ones I’ve rented. First, the location is great. The street is nice and quiet. There are two small, public beaches well within walking distance. The rental office is also close by, if you need to go there for anything. Route 28 is close enough to get to, but not too close that you hear any traffic.
As for the house, it’s excellent. The furniture is relatively new and comfortable, which isn’t always the case with Cape rentals. The kitchen has nice appliances and plenty of utensils to cook. Nice, big back yard with a grill. The central AC is really nice upgrade, that many rentals don’t have. There’s a newer “smart” TV and Blu Ray player. So if you’re stuck inside for some reason, you have pl of entertainment options. There’s also plenty of books and board games.
The only thing I would caution about are the mattresses. They are really soft. So if a soft mattress isn’t great for your back, keep that in mind. Other than that, I can’t recommend this house enough.

"Perfect house for a summer get away"

Owner thought of everything you possible could need for this great rental. From chairs in the backyard to a Keurig in the kitchen. The house was immaculate and just enough for our family of 4 and friends that stayed the night! We stayed for 2 weeks and they came with extra gas for the grill. Back yard was perfect for games and the deck was awesome for morning coffee. I absolutely loved this place. Nightly walks to the beach and a great location on the cape! As far as Martha Murray's office goes they are as great as the house was! This is the second time we used them for our rental and they are amazing. Easy check in and out and honestly we had an AC problem when we first got there and they were MORE then responsive to fix the problem! Great experience!

"Clean and comfy"

The house was spotless and just what I wanted a good ole fashion beach house! Close to everything we were interested in and great street. Enjoyed our stay. The only downfall to this house was there were no outside lights. Couldn't sit On the beautiful patio and furniture after dark cause we couldn't see. Nice big yard for kids but couldn't play after dark. If lights were out outside would definitely consider coming back.
