"Paradise on the River"

What a beautiful house and property! The house is immaculate, well-equipped and well-designed. It was hot during our stay but the air conditioning units and ceiling fans kept the house cool. We loved how the bedrooms were off the main living area of the house which allowed for privacy and quiet for our family members. All of the beds were very comfortable. The living room is spacious with a very comfortable couch and a lovely view of the riverfront. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen/dining room area which was big enough for us to entertain guests during our stay. The back deck is comfortable for morning gathering but very sunny in the afternoon. Our favorite feature was the riverfront which provided lots of shade and a cool breeze all day long - we only went to the beach one day because we loved the riverfront so much. The property offers use of three kayaks, life jackets and some great beach chairs. The fire pit chairs are also comfortable and can be moved down to the water. There is plentiful parking as well. We dined out for breakfast quite a bit at the Breakfast Room, Good Friends Cafe, Wee Packet, and Buckies - all delicious. Our favorite dinner spot is always O'Shea's Olde Inn which has good food and irish musicians several days a week. We have requested to return to this property next summer since we enjoyed it so much.

"The Anania Family Review"

Our experience was wonderful as always. Our four grown kids (and girlfriends/boyfriends) all love the house and with this Covid-19 year, they decided to stay away from the local beaches and just lounge by the dock in their newly purchased inflatables sipping margaritas. Our only issue is that the oven was not cleaned prior to our arrival (and probably not checked in a while given the burnt in grime) and the microwave knob was broken off. Also, the main bathroom had to be swept upon our arrival to remove the beach sand residue on the floor. My recommendation is to run through again the essential cleaning procedures with the cleaning crew (especially in these Covid-19 times) because it's clear they are cutting corners or rushed or both. But again, our family loves the house and we would love it even more with a nice clean oven!

"Absolutely Lovely"

This rental is perfect. We loved the view over the salt marsh, the layout of the space, comfortable beds, the gas grill steps from the kitchen, and the beaches just minutes away. We had a wonderful time kayaking, catching crabs, and gazing at hunting ospreys.

" The property is amazing!"

The whole experience was great, the property is amazing - the view, the easy access to the river, the house itself - and the location is amazing. The house is spacious and open, very well decorated and everything is very conveniently labeled. We loved the board games selection, we brought some of our own, but it was nice to see that they had such a great selection of those at the house as well. The kitchen is very well equipped, which was a pleasant surprise, and very updated. The bathrooms are nice and neat and we did love the shower on the guest bathroom! Such a great shower! The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms very conveniently decorated, the pillows are a little too high though, but we all brought our own pillows, so that was not a problem. The deck giving direct access to the water was a favorite of ours, we enjoyed it very much, as well as the chairs by the water. The only downside was the duck droppings on the backyard; I wish there was more information on the website about the duck droppings all over the backyard; we could not use the backyard as much as we wished because of the droppings; not a big deal, nature does what it has to do, but we brought a whole lot of backyard entertainment with us, which took a lot of space in the cars and a lot of work to transport from and back home, and we could not use them. The overall experience was great though!! I would totally go back and definitely would recommend it to others!

"July 2019 stay"

Loved the cottage so much. The bedrooms were so comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning was so welcome as it was so hot last week. The air conditioner in the living room was a bit noisy although it did work well to cool us down.. Also maybe a Brita pitcher for drinking water as the water seemed a bit chlorinated. Thanks again for providing such a comfortable house for our family vacation! I would like to thank the young woman at Martha Murray Rentals who helped us out when we accidentally locked ourselves out one day. She was so sweet and accommodating and came right away to let us inside the cottage where our keys were safe and sound. Haha! Thanks again!!

"Such a Fabulous Spot!"

So great to kayak right from the backyard down the Swan river to West Dennis Beach. Walking distance to a few restaurants, stores, ice cream, and short drive to beach. House is roomy and comfortable. I highly recommend this rental!
