The Cape Cod Museum of Art (CCMoA) stands as the premier cultural heart of the region, dedicated to preserving and celebrating the distinctive artistic identity of Cape Cod and the Islands. Located on the beautiful 22-acre campus of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts in Dennis, the museum was founded in 1981 by a group of artists and community activists led by sculptor Harry Holl. Its mission is to educate, inspire, and connect the community through an outstanding permanent collection of over 2,000 works that tell the story of art in this historic region. Visitors can explore seven climate-controlled galleries and a stunning outdoor sculpture garden, all while immersed in the historic charm of Route 6A in Dennis Village. The museum serves as a year-round hub for the cultural life of the Cape, providing a world-class space for international exhibitions and local masterpieces alike.

Old Yarmouth: Life During the American Revolution (Opening April 9, 2026): In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, this historically significant exhibition features maps, documents, furniture, and fashion from the mid-18th century. Join the special opening reception on Thursday, April 16, from 4:00 – 6:30 pm.
Through Young Eyes (Through May 17, 2026): A vibrant 22nd annual tradition featuring the artwork of Cape Cod students in grades K-12. This collaborative exhibition showcases the next generation of regional talent across a variety of mediums.
Cape Cod Open Sculpture Invitational - Outdoor (Starts April 16, 2026): As spring blooms, the 2026 Outdoor Sculpture Invitational officially begins on the museum's 22-acre campus. Explore over 35 outdoor installations nestled within the landscape of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts.
