"Cottage life"

We spend 7 days in the delightfull small cottage with a more Scandinavian decor than the typical american. 5 minutes from little private beach. Good kitchen facilities, gas grill at the back.

The house was in great shape, and very comfortable to stay in for a week. It was great to have the option to grill/cook meals in, or hit some local restaurants to eat. The location is great, you can walk to the beaches and also drive to a lot of great attractions. As advertised, highly recommend for your cape get away!

My family has rented this property now for a few years. It is always well kept, clean, and just very homey. The owners have stocked upon everything you will need to make it the best relaxing vacation ever. I am so glad we found this little gem to make memories!

Great place for families, only thing missing was laundry. Quiet street and quick walk to the beach. There were two restaurants we were able to walk to as well as a coffee shop.

The cottage is adorable and a five minute walk down the street to the beach. It had everything that I could need and the rooms were pretty with beautiful cape light! The outdoor shower was spacious and well-designed. The only 2 issues: it would be REALLY nice to have a full length mirror somewhere in the cottage; and the cottage was not well cleaned when I arrived. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom and some rooms, a piece of trash on the bed, a ring of dirt in the bathroom sink. I have used Martha Murray Rentals many times and all of the other properties have been clean on arrival, so I am assuming this was a random fluke or due to one individual cleaner's poor skills. But it was a disappointment to need to clean before I felt that I could unpack and relax.

Walk to the end of the street and you're on the beach in less than 5 minutes. Its a quiet part of the Cape. Not at all touristy. Very relaxing. If you want more action you can drive to it in minutes.

We had a great time at this property. The house itself is nicely updated with a great outdoor shower as well. There is actually a nice, comfortable recliner in place of the camp chair that is pictured. The kitchen is minimally stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes but we cooked several nights and made it work. The beds were soft, which we loved. The central air was key for us during the hot week we were there. The backyard is nice and private and the neighbors were also friendly. The grill is in a bit of rough shape but was usable. The private beach at the end of the road is great, with the options of Glendon Road or Haigis Beach also within another 5 minute walk. We used all three! Location is convenient to some of the Dennisport favorites, including Wolfies Bakery, Kream and Cone and Holiday Hill mini golf. Only a 20 minute ride to Mayflower Beach as well.
