February offers a Chocolate Lovers festival, the Cape Cod Chowder Festival happens in June, and Labor Day offers one of the largest craft fairs on Cape. The fall is one of our favorite times to be here, as the crowds die down and restaurants and hotels offer major discounts. No matter the season, you will be sure to enjoy the many happenings that Cape Cod has to offer.
Memorial Day, honoring our troops and marking the unofficial start of summer, is a classic Cape Cod holiday. To celebrate Memorial Day, the towns on the Cape come to life with ceremonies, family activities, beach barbecues, fireworks, and parades.
The Rhododendron Festival is a beautiful Cape Cod event that highlights blooming flowers at the Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Every spring, as Cape Cod flowers are in full bloom, visitors enjoy guided demonstrations and learn about caring for rhododendrons.
Annual Strawberry Day is a fun, family friendly food event at the Green Briar Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich. Every year locals and visitors can see how strawberry jam was made over 100 years ago.
