Celebrating Community, Culture, and the Beauty of Spring on Cape Cod
Each spring, the town of Brewster bursts into color and celebration with one of Cape Cod's most beloved annual traditions — Brewster in Bloom. Hosted by the Brewster Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Town of Brewster, this three-day festival marks the unofficial start of the Cape Cod season and draws thousands of visitors to historic Route 6A for a weekend filled with live music, outdoor art, local food, and community spirit.
From the Friday night Brewster Band concert to the Sunday afternoon town parade, Brewster in Bloom offers something for every age and interest. It's one of the best reasons to plan an early spring visit to Cape Cod — and a tradition that gets better every year.
Brewster in Bloom - Dates and Schedule
Juried Fine Arts and Crafts Show
- Running Saturday and Sunday, this show welcomes everyone to the "first-of-season" open-air arts and crafts show on Cape Cod!
- When and Where: Saturday 10am - 5 pm and Sunday 10am - 4, May 2 - 3, 2026 pm at 3057 Main Street, Brewster - Free Parking and Admission
Brewster Band Spring Concert
- The 31st annual Brewster in Bloom concert, conducted by John E. New. A beloved kickoff to the festival weekend featuring an evening of live music at one of Brewster's historic landmarks.
- When and Where: Friday, May 1, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the Brewster Baptist Church, 1848 Main Street. - Free Admission
Cape Cod 5K Bloom Run
- Presented by Cape Cod 5, this fun 5K starts at the Brewster Inn and Chowder House. Get your legs ready for the summer with this fun spring race through Brewster.
- When and Where: Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 10:00 am at Uncle Pete's Chowder House and Watershed - Route 6A, Brewster. Registration opens 8:30 am.
Brewster in Bloom Parade
- The grand finale of the festival weekend — a beloved community parade through the heart of Brewster. Sponsored by Uncle Pete's Chowder House/Woodshed.
- When and Where: Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 1:00 pm from Eddy Elementary School west on Main St. to Swamp Rd. Staging begins at 11 AM. Free Admission
