Description

Sound View, located at 145 Old Wharf Road, Dennis Port, is a classic Cape Cod beach house- a light, bright and airy two-unit ocean front vacation home.

With stunning views of Nantucket Sound and 100 feet of private beach, Sound View has two, 3-bedroom, 1,200 sf units, each accommodating six. Each unit has heat and air conditioning, with wireless high speed internet, washer and dryer. They are decorated in a charming nautical style, with grey/white/navy colors, beadboard walls, new white kitchens with breakfast bars, new beds, and upholstered furniture. Also, a wall of windows and sliders provides stunning views of the beach and ever-changing Cape skyline.

Step off your deck onto a child friendly beach with shallow, calm and warm ocean water only 50 feet away. Enjoy panoramic vistas of both the sunrise and sunset on one of your two decks overlooking the beach. Located on a vibrant seasonal street that hosts runners, bikers, dog walkers, and parents and grandparents pushing babies in strollers.

Unit Two – second floor unit features 3 bedrooms (2 twins, 1 queen, 1 king) – open floor plan with soaring ceilings, open floor plan with kitchen/breakfast bar, dining area, living area. Two full baths (one shower only). Two decks that overlook the beach and ocean. Access the unit from outside staircase in the front of the house. Two parking spaces. Shared Enclosed Outdoor shower.

"Vast, Vibrant Views and Pretty, Private, Beach"

We had a terrific time soaking up seasonal sunshine in a beachfront property in Dennisport. With amazing views in every direction and the ability to see gorgeous sun rises and sunsets from the same deck, the location was beyond compare. The property was well-appointed with everything a vacationer could need easily accessible.

Fabulous experience from start to finish! The accommodations were great and the views spectacular! Waking up to the sound of ocean waves every morning never gets old. Nor does the convenience of stepping out of your room and being right on the beach. This is the way a family vacation should be. So happy we rented through Martha Murray Vacation Rentals!

Just like last year it was a wonderful week on the vape thanks to this great beach front property. The space was bright and open and the a/c came in handy throughout the entire week. There are a few minor issues that should be addressed prior to next season. The grills are rusting through on the bottoms and need to be replaced. Some of the beach furniture is also rusted through and one lounger is fully broken. The laminate on the kitchen cabinets is starting to come off the doors, the towel holder in the bathroom comes off easily. There are also a few rusted spots on the vent grates in the bathroom that are a little unsightly as well as the intake grate in the entry way. All minor thing and we can't wait to come back next year.

We love staying at the 145 Old Wharf house. It is close to everything we enjoy about the area.
There was a minor issue with the AC in the unit when I arrived. The property management team had someone out asap to resolve the issue.
We can't wait to return next year!!

It was the perfect spot to get away from all the COVID mayhem and just relax. The rental is right on the water - no getting in your car to go to the beach! We were in the upstairs unit - great views. There were two balconies - great little spot to read, eat lunch or just listen to the sea.

Had a great weeks vacation while staying at this property. As described, the house is updated and very airy. The views are spectacular and the house is in a perfect location....not to mention your own private beach in the back. The house is within walking distance to number of restaurants / cafes (Cleat and Anchor, Chapin's, The Dog House, Joey's Pizza, Sailing Cow, Woolfie's) all of which we were patrons of. Can't wait to go back and would definitely return to this property.

"Just a few things I think would help "

This was our 4th year renting old wharf, we rent both floors along with family friends. We could not be happier with the house and location and We were very happy to see the new couch!!
Although My name is on the rental for the second floor we generally end up staying on the first floor. They only recommendation I would make is possibly a new refrigerator, and also more clothing storage options in both the king room and double twin room. The second floor unit has an armoire in the King room and a full-size dresser in the twin room, So something like that would be great down stairs. Also a better vaccume down stars.

The sounds of the waves 24/7 was heavenly. We loved relaxing on the beach. We were disappointed there was not enough room for all 6 of us to relax in the living room at the same time. Also, we were hoping for comfortable mattresses.
