Sound View, located at 145 Old Wharf Road, Dennis Port, is a classic Cape Cod beach house- a light, bright and airy two-unit ocean front vacation home.

With stunning views of Nantucket Sound and 100 feet of private beach, Sound View has two, 3-bedroom, 1,200 sf units, each accommodating six. Each unit has heat and air conditioning, with wireless high speed internet, washer and dryer. They are decorated in a charming nautical style, with grey/white/navy colors, beadboard walls, new white kitchens with breakfast bars, new beds, and upholstered furniture. Also, a wall of windows and sliders provides stunning views of the beach and ever-changing Cape skyline.

Step off your deck onto a child friendly beach with shallow, calm and warm ocean water only 50 feet away. Enjoy panoramic vistas of both the sunrise and sunset on one of your two decks overlooking the beach. Located on a vibrant seasonal street that hosts runners, bikers, dog walkers, and parents and grandparents pushing babies in strollers. This Dennisport property is unlike any others you may have rented. Start building family memories at Sound View – combining the Cape Cod of yesteryear with the Cape Cod of today.

My best friends, my husband, and I have stayed here for I think the last 5 years and we have never been disappointed. The house is super clean and the views are amazing. Right on the beach, how could you not love that. And Martha Murray Vaca Rental...are AWESOME!!!!!

Our favorite place to vacation. Even a hurricane didn't interfere. A perfect location in a comfortable condo. A few things need attention but didn't affect our stay.

This place is perfect for location ! It’s has a great beach and beautiful view , it feels like your floating on the water with all the picture windows . We stayed on the 1 rst floor which made it easy for my elderly parents to access the beach easily , the house was very roomy and fit us all very comfortably. Some of the furniture could be updated and some things need repairing in the house for the price you pay for the week . They advertise a picnic table to be shared with the unit upstairs which I thought would be hard to do , but when we got there , there was no picnic table at all . No table to sit at outside . I think for the price you pay for the house they could have more amenities for the house . Overall we liked the place but would have preferred some outdoor seating .

the complaints we have are the living room chairs are uncomfortable, there should be shelves in the bathrooms, a much bigger bureau in the master bedroom cause we stay where we have more clothes then the summer, and why didn't the owner combine the two decks so we could fit more people on them to be comfortable. odd how that is. oh and another picnic table please because the other one got lost in the storm last year. other than those things, we love, love, love our cape cod home. right on the water how could you not??!!!!!!

Wonderful vacation! Can’t wait until next year. Staff very professional and courteous, they made it a simple check in and out. House was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. With the virus this summer we felt very safe with our own house and private beach. We didn’t have to go out. Very enjoyable and my grandkids had the time of their lives!

Our 2nd time staying at this place, and we all love it and already can't wait to come back next summer. Location says it all, staying right on the beach. The convenience of going back and forth on the beach without having to pack up a car is wonderful. The place is clean, comfortable and not lacking anything. My husband and I have visited Cape Cod on several occasions, usually on Cape Cod Bay side. We found this property online and were so pleased. The rental process was easy and the house was perfect! Right on the sand with wonderful views on the water. It was clean and fresh, the kitchen was well-equipped, as was the whole house. It was a perfect setup for two couples or a family with the master bdrm & bath on on side and two bdrms and a bath on the other side of the house.
The area was great for everything we needed or wanted. We love going in September when the temps are mild and crowds are fewer.
One drawback for some may have been the condition of the water on the sound - we couldn't really go in because it was too rocky and full of seaweed. Fortunately, we had plenty of other things on our plan to do and weren't really upset by it. The time of year and recent storms probably left their mark.
We would definitely recommend 145 Old Wharf Road! We love Cape Cod!

Had a great weeks vacation while staying at this property. As described, the house is updated and very airy. Plenty of room for five people. The views are spectacular and the house is in a perfect location....not to mention your own private beach in the back. The house is within walking distance to number of restaurants / cafes (Cleat and Anchor, Chapin's, The Dog House, Joey's Pizza, Sailing Cow, Woolfie's) all of which we were patrons of. Can't wait to go back and would definitely return to this property.

Great experience. The private beach is fantastic. The house is great with a nice beach feel. Could use a bit of attention (replace light bulbs and broken shade). We had the downstairs unit - cannot beat walking out to the beach from the back porches. The guests upstairs were very friendly and courteous. I would hope all guests would be the same if we were to rent again.

We always love getting away but this is our only vacation and it is with our best friends so that makes it all the more awesome. We love the ocean so this spot is perfect. What wasn't perfect was the blood in the master bath and the curtains in the place were dirty or moldy. I brought it up with the rental girls and they will fix that. This rental was exactly how it was described in the listing. No disappointments at all. The property was clean and fit my family perfectly. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out a little. The location right on the beach cannot be better. The kids walked down the street to get ice cream and my husband and I went for walks around the neighborhood. Within a short drive is all your necessities. Gorgeous place, and Martha Murray was very easy to deal with. The entire rental process was very smooth. I highly recommend them and this property.

Beautiful property and decorated nicely. We loved what was in the area as well. Best part was sitting out on the porches and watching the ocean. We also liked sitting on the other side and talking to people walking by. Having a washer and dryer was great. With salt and sand, it was great to clean up towels etc.
