"Great stay"

Overall, we had a great stay. The house had a ton of room for our family of four. We loved the location. Super close to downtown Dennis, and the beaches. The house is on a busy road, but it is set back, so I wasn’t concerned about the children playing outside. I do wish there was a little bit nicer area to sit outside and enjoy the yard.

The house was clean and bright. Everything that was needed for a
great vacation was provided. Centrally located to both Dennis and West Dennis makes this rental even more desirable.
An added bonus was the central air conditioning. The Cape weather was exceptionally hot so the air conditioning was a welcomed relief.

"Terrific home for a lovely week at the Cape "

Wonderful time away with family. We have rented this property three times now and were delighted to return. Our experience was made even better when we saw how attentive to cleaning and how well COVID protocols had been followed. Easy drive to multiple beaches. Quiet space to relax outside. Easy access to bike path. Ice Cream Smuggler is nearby - yum, yum, yum.

"Comfortable stay at an Acorn House"

1.Warm, sunlit home, close to Dennis center and beaches.
2.Kitchen amenities (except for the main light fixture which did make some basic prep activities problematic) were complete for home cooked meals.
3.WiFi access was very good, except the owner had changed the password/login and may not have informed your staff, who had to make a home visit to get things working.
notification that Dennis does not provide pickup recycling; that information that directed us to recycle for a fee and had to be solicited by a phone call to MM.
4. Clean, comfortable furniture and beds.

5. Room fans helped with A/C needs.

This is our 5th time renting the home over a period of 15 years and we are always happy to stay and enjoy both the property and location. Looking forward to next summer.

"Great house to stay in for a family of all ages "

This was our second stay in this home. My husband, 11 year old daughter and I were there all week. Friends came at the beginning and end of our stay. The first group had a 10 year old and 11 year old. The three kids had so much fun putting on shoes and using the loft as their space. The friends at the end of the week had a 5 year old and 2 year old. The 5 year old felt like he had a terrific space to play while the 2 year old napped in one of the lowest level bedrooms. All of the adults felt like we also had lots of space and utilized the outside table, grill, etc... We loved going to Mayflower and Corporation/Howe’s Beach. A lovely, sunny home for a terrific week’s stay.

"Terrific house, great location, spacious, great for families"

My family, plus two sets of grandparents stayed at this terrific home. The grandparents took the bedrooms on the bottom floor and we split the two rooms on top. We never felt crowded, there was lots of light and space, and the play area was a fun reading nook/spy area for my 10 year old. The only suggestion that came up was from the very mobile and capable grandparents who noted that they would have liked a handrail for the shower downstairs due to the slippery floor. Also it was noted that the mileage listed from the house to the beaches was incorrect so the youngest member couldn’t bike there as planned. However, these were extremely minimal items in a FANTASTIC week. Mayflower, Corporation, and Cold Storage beaches were easy and quick drives and adults could bike to the closest beach. We loved the outdoor patio, the grill and the outdoor shower. We really can’t wait to enjoy staying st this house again soon!!

Very easy process for the rental. Key pick up was fast and key return took second. Staff is very friendly and professional. The lawn was a bit overgrown. Maybe install a fire pit for outdoor relaxation.

The house was not as clean as expected, and the stove had a dirty pan left in it with grease in the bottom. We loved having the space to share with the whole family. This is our second year renting this property. Location is great and layout of the home is ideal. Thank you again!

Excellent, We truly enjoyed this house! It was very comfortable for our two week stay, and had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be better lawn maintenance. The grass was already in need of cutting when we arrived, but not too terrible. Having never been cut during our stay, it made the lawn games that we had brought unusable by the middle of our second week. Overall though, we had a fantastic time! Best Part of Your Vacation: The fact that it was 2 weeks! That and the comfort of the home made it able for us to truly relax, not feel rushed to do anything, and enjoy our getaway!

We had a wonderful vacation. Our only problem was the dishwasher stopped working on Wednesday night and not able to be fixed before we left. Not a problem, just an inconvenience.

"Great house and location for lots of family fun!"

I would say the house could use a little more cleaning, but overall it was great for us! We were able to have grandparents and kids with plenty of room. The renovated bathroom was beautiful! Only wish the jacuzzi tub was working! The kids loved the additional play space and a nice small yard. Location is ideal for the best beaches and other local activities around the area! We'd definitely stay again!

"Three generations loved this home"

This home was perfect for our three generation family. We "older" folk liked the privacy the layout provided. The grandchildren LOVED their secret hideout and did several performances for us from their balcony. The laundry facilities were wonderful for us all-but especially our children who were able to keep the little ones in clean clothes. All-in-all-a wonderful get-away.
