"Great house & amazing staff at Martha Murray - only 1 suggestion "

Let me start off by saying this is the 3rd or 4th year in a row staying here and I stayed for 4 weeks at the end of summer. It’s perfect for the wife and I to have friends join us. It’s walking to great bars and walking to the south side beaches. Any time we need anything Martha Murray staffers (big shout out to Jess Galvin!) are always super responsive. Even after hours! The only thing I could suggest is to try and get the floors cleaner. Both the hardwood and the slate floors. I know it’s going to be sandy but my feet and socks get filthy walking. Maybe a mopping is needed before guest turnover? MM offered to come clean it for us but I didn’t want to inconvenience them or us. Just wanted to point it out. I will still stay here at this great property and I will ONLY use Martha Murray’s rental team! I think this is year 14 or 15!! Cheers to you all for a job well done

It was a pleasure to come back this year to 41 Arborway. The process with Martha Murray was seamless, which included information prior to our stay and also thought the week. The home is lovely, roomy and so comfortable. The yard and the deck and the outdoor shower were all great as was the grill and the outdoor furniture. My summer rental from Martha Murray was the very best! Thank You. !!!!!

A great time. The house was even cleaner than usual because of the Covid routines. The getting-the-key process was very slick; I expect a drone hand-off next year. And finally, Martha Murray ordering the perfect weather for us was the best gift of all.

"Labor Day week stay"

Had a great week in this home. It was super cozy and had a great layout for having some friends come down to entertain here and there. It has a wonderful kitchen with everything you could possibly need for your stay. There were just small minor things that could have made it perfect. The TV cabinet doesn’t really work well for the flat screen. I actually broke the tv trying to turn to see it and it fell out! Glad I had coverage and MM swapped it immediately! And the inside shower had a curtain too small and did not drain well. Last thing was there was sand all over on the floors. But those all were minor. I’d recommend it for sure.

Best part of our vacation was being together as a family! We loved the house & the location. The house was well equipped; it had everything imaginable. The beach is very close by. I would rent this house again but the beds were very firm (the only down side of this house).

Martha Murray was very helpful in this rental. The week prior to my arrival, the agency contacted me and asked if a repairman could come and fix one of the burners on the stove that was not working. I agreed and MM called me again prior to their arrival at the rental unit. I appreciated the early notice/request. The home was in fine condition. It was a bit dated, but worked fine. The Mattresses and box springs (mostly box spring) were old and was clear they haven't been replaced in years. Box springs showed clear signs of falling apart. Laundry was in the basement and was in working condition though a more thorough cleaning of cobwebs on stairs would have been nice.

It's a nice house with a great yard fairly close (7-minute walk, 3-minute bike) to the beach, so a very good deal. If you get a warm, warm week the house stays a little warm at night, that's the only downside.

"Fun Family Vacation"

We rented this house for our first family vacation, and it was great. The house was a short walk from a semi-private beach which we enjoyed several of the days of our stay. The walk was short enough for our 2 year old to walk himself. There were many local restaurants and activities to fill our days with fun and the neighborhood was quiet at night. The house has a decent amount of yard space which we enjoyed running and playing in.

Working with MMVR was a pleasant experience. I appreciated the emails providing information including check in and the area, rather than needing to do independent research prior to our trip. We enjoyed being near the beach and that we were able to walk with our 2 year old, saving the parking fee.

We love renting from MMVR. Excellent service, friendly and always there to help. The added sun room is definitely the best part of this cottage. Very clean, every amenity you could think of. The trees surrounding the house provided plenty of shade and protection from the summer sun. The outside shower was awesome, hot and great water pressure. The ceiling fans cooled off the inside perfectly. No complaints here.

There were 6 of us which included 2 children (ages 4 &7). This was our 2nd year staying there and we look forward to next year. The floor plan was great for cooking, socializing and entertaining, especially with the children. It is a very well equipped house, which helped to make this a real VACATION. I am sure you will enjoy this place.
