Description

Lovely 4 bedroom beach home with fantastic views of the ocean and salt pond. Just 75 yards to a shared private beach. Window a/c in each bedroom. Bright open floor plan with sliders to multiple decks offering water views and lounges to relax and soak up summer rays. Gas grill is provided as well as picnic table and umbrella table and chairs. Wireless internet, smart TV. Main level bathroom was redone for the 2023 season!

"Our 6th rental of this wonderful beach house"

As with the other 5 times, we had a wonderful experience in this house. Even better than the other years since the owners have put A/C in all the bedrooms rather than just 2. Location to the beach is ideal ... you can see the roof of the house from the private beach. And this year, having a private beach is almost a necessity. The beach is owned by the 4 homes on Babcock, and there were only a few people from the other homes on the beach all week. The precautions that the rental agent (Martha Murray Vacation Rentals) put in place for picking up the keys and dropping them off were better than anything; it only took a quick drive through their parking lot. Wonderful week in a truly comfortable beach house.

Perfect home for the family. Close to private beach. The house had everything we needed. As always, Martha Murray was great to work with. We had one minor issue when we got there and they promptly remedied the problem.

This is a terrific beach house. My husband and I, our two grown sons and their wives, and 2 grandsons always have a wonderful time there. Despite the many places my family travels to around the world, this is one of our favorites; always chill, a SHORT walk to a private beach, and just a great time. 2 of the bedrooms are airconditioned, and I wish the other 2 were also. If they were, and if one of the bedrooms either had twin beds or a queen, it would be perfect.

We loved the house and the was within walking distance to west dennis beach and you could see and hear the ocean from the upstairs deck and bedrooms. The house had 3 decks which made it feel bigger, as did the layout.

"Perfect, Laid-Back, over-the-dune beach house"

This is the fourth year in a row that my family (darling husband, two sons, their wives, and two grandsons) has come to this beach house. The house is so close to the private beach (owned by four houses on this street) that you can go back and forth as many times as you like. The house has a great back deck, very private with lots of seating and a great grill. And the large living room and kitchen accommodated us all perfectly. The only thing I would want is air conditioning on the whole bedroom floor. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, dishes, appliances. With two bathrooms and a great outside shower, there was plenty of space for all. We will come again; it's like our own summer home! May I also say that communication with this property rental company was great - an added bonus.

The slip covers on the living room couches didn't stay on very well. Looked messy as soon as someone sat on them. Might want to replace them, or the couches. We had a great week! Thank you!

"The Perfect Beach Cottage for our Multgenerational Group!"

The perfect beach cottage for our group of 7, including our 20- something kids and their friends and 88 year old Grandma! A stone's throw from a beautiful private beach on Nantucket Sound where the water was warm, the waves gentle and the sand soft and white. To be able to sit on the deck outside your bedroom, or even in bed , gazing out on the blue waters of the Sound feeling the sea breeze it's on your face is heaven on earth! The rooms that did not have an ocean view had a view of a lovely pond . The kitchen is well appointed with a big farm table that we sat around on a cool rainy night and the downstairs deck sports a picnic table and smaller table where we were able to enjoy dinner that we cooked on the grill on a warmer evening and many a morning coffee. There was also a great outdoor shower for after the beach. A wonderful vacation at 5 Babcock!

Excellent, It's great to stay here because of the short distance to the ocean and the private beach. We had a great time and great weather for 2 weeks.Best Part of Your Vacation: Number 1 is being there for the Fourth. They have a neighborhood parade that the grandkids love. We had great meals both out and in the house. The improvements made a big difference this year - new slip covers on the couches especially, new table on the deck, and a new hood on the stove. I really appreciated the fact that the vine like plants, that I'm allergic to, were cut back quite a bit.

Excellent stay. We have been vacationing on the Cape since the summer of 95, and this was the first time we lost power. Thank you for your help. Best part of your vacation: When the weather turned to summer temperatures and we could enjoy the beach day. Cant forget to mention the great food at the local restaurants.

Excellent stay. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for cooking. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces. Best part of our vacation: relaxing with family and friends; kayaking and paddle boarding on Bass River; riding the Cape Cod rail trail. The umbrella on the small table on the back deck is broken.
